Retro Bodywork, Modern Triple
MV wrapped the F3 in a round headlight and a tail unit drawn from the sixties. Underneath the styling it is the same sharp middleweight with the same immediate throttle.
Bar End Weights

Everything the controller decides at small openings is referenced to where it believes closed is. That is why the learn routine exists at all.
Who Should Not Buy This
Anybody whose riding is mostly urban, mostly two-up or mostly in the wet. The part rewards deliberate throttle use and punishes casual throttle use.
What the Manufacturer Claims
The response and sensitivity of a cable throttle with a reduced rotation angle. It is a modest claim and it matches what the part actually does.
Cruise Control and Heated Grips
Cruise control works through the controller's own inputs and cancels at the brake, the clutch and the switch exactly as before. Heated grips are the real question, because the element is bonded to the standard tube on many models and does not transfer.
In the Wet
Less rotation for the same opening leaves less room for a cold, wet hand to be gentle. The riding mode helps and the mechanical ratio does not care about the weather. It is the clearest argument for keeping the standard assembly reachable.
