DescriptionThe whole story▼

CP004 is a raised version of Accossato's clip-on, lifting the bar position by either 10 mm or 20 mm compared with the standard mounting height while keeping a fixed 10-degree inclination. It is made for 50 mm fork tubes and is sold as a pair, aimed at riders who want a less stretched-out stance for racing use than a standard, unraised clip-on gives.

Key Features

  • Sold in pairs, raised clip-on
  • Rise of +10 mm or +20 mm
  • Fixed 10° inclination
  • CNC-worked aluminium construction
  • For 50 mm fork diameter
  • Bracelet colour: Black or Silver
  • Tube length 250 mm or 280 mm, with or without end plugs

Construction and Material Quality

The clip-on body is machined from aluminium on CNC equipment, with the raised section built into the clamp casting rather than added as a separate spacer. Two rise heights are offered, +10 mm and +20 mm, both keeping the 10-degree inclination of the standard CP-series clip-ons. The clamp itself is sized for 50 mm fork tubes and is available with a black or silver bracelet, while the tubes are a separate choice between 250 mm and 280 mm, with or without end plugs.

Choosing Between the +10 mm and +20 mm Rise

Accossato offers CP004 in two rise heights so riders can pick how much the bar position moves up from the standard, race-style clip-on mounting. The 10 mm option gives a smaller change in reach and wrist angle, while the 20 mm option raises the bar further for a more upright position; Accossato describes the aim as a more comfortable position for racing use. Either height keeps the same 10-degree inclination and the same 50 mm clamp diameter, so the rise is the only variable that changes the riding position.

Fitment and Compatibility

CP004 is listed for sport and supersport models including the Honda CBR 1000 RR, Kawasaki ZX-10 R, Suzuki GSX-R 1000, Triumph Daytona 675, Yamaha R1 and Yamaha R1M. The complete list of approved models and years is shown in the Fitment tab. The clamp is built for a 50 mm fork diameter only, so this measurement should be checked against the motorcycle before ordering, alongside the steering lock clearance once the clip-ons are fitted.

Road Approval

We do not hold inspection or approval paperwork, such as a German ABE, for CP004, so it should be treated as suited to racing and closed-course use rather than riding on public roads.

Scope of Delivery
