Three and a half kilos, against 11.2 for the standard system. Spark's EVO2024 build for the ZX-6R pairs a full titanium collector with the Konix Evo silencer and puts a carbon fibre cover over the connection - and unlike most kits at this level, it still works on a motorcycle that has its passenger footrests fitted.
Key Features
- Full titanium racing system for the Kawasaki ZX-6R, ZX-6R Ninja and Ninja ABS 636.
- Titanium collector with Konix Evo silencer, titanium body and carbon fibre end cap.
- Carbon fibre cover on the connection.
- 3.5 kg against 11.2 kg for the standard system.
- FIM-approved for the SSP600 category.
- Racing part, not road approved.
Seven and a Half Kilos Off
The figure is the reason this kit exists. 11.2 kg leaves the motorcycle and 3.5 comes back, and almost all of it comes off high and to one side of the machine. On a 600 that is not a horsepower argument, it is a direction-change argument, and it is felt at the first corner rather than on a dyno sheet.
Spark reaches it by building the collector in titanium rather than stainless, which is what separates this range from the company's 60 mm steel kits for the same motorcycle.
It Fits the Standard Bike
Spark states that the EVO versions are compatible with the 636 even in its original configuration, with the passenger footrests in place. A specific connecting pipe is what makes that possible. It is worth reading twice, because full titanium racing systems usually assume a stripped machine and quietly require the footrest hangers to come off.
Here they do not have to. If the bike is a road-registered 636 that also does track days, this is the version of the range that does not force a decision.
FIM SSP600, Not a Road Approval
The kit is FIM-approved for the SSP600 category, which is a racing homologation: it certifies the exhaust against the standards of the World Championship class, and it is what lets a team run it under a race licence.
It says nothing about road use, and Spark lists the article as not approved. In Germany that means closed course. The two words look similar on paper and mean entirely different things at a roadside check.
Where the Carbon Sits
Two places: the end cap of the silencer, and a cover over the connection between collector and silencer. Spark describes the cover as an aesthetic part, which is honest - it is not a heat shield doing structural work. The Grid-O version of this range carries the same cover, the more basic titanium kits do not.
Fitment & Compatibility
Kawasaki ZX-6R, ZX-6R Ninja and Ninja ABS 636, 2009 to 2026. The Force Evo silencer on the same EVO2024 collector is GKA8834T, and the Grid-O version is GKA8833T. Simpler titanium kits without the carbon cover are GKA8832T with Konix Evo and GKA8829T with Force Evo. Spark's stainless 60 mm systems for the same motorcycle are GKA8806T and GKA8822T.
Road Approval
None. Spark lists this article as not approved for road use. FIM SSP600 racing approval only. Closed course.
