Bushings in the fork carry the side load; play there shows up as knocking under braking.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 04760-47

Dimension A 57 mm

Original Öhlins service part

Dimension B 58 mm

Dimension C 511 mm

Function

The published figures are 57 mm, 58 mm, 511 mm. Measure the old part against them before ordering. A fork tube that has been bent is scrap: straightening changes the wall and it bends again. Outer tubes hold the bushings and the seal head, so their bore finish matters as much as the inner tube's outside. Öhlins publishes tube diameters by fork model, and they are not interchangeable across the range.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue.

Identifying the Right Part

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 04760-47 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Check dimension a 57 mm, dimension b 58 mm, dimension c 511 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. A fork tube that has been bent is scrap: straightening changes the wall and it bends again. Cartridge tubes sit inside the fork leg and do the actual damping.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04760-47

Category: Outer Tubes

Dimension A: 57 mm

Dimension B: 58 mm

Dimension C: 511 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04760-47_30a441e5-b76d-4fee-b09b-8f38734a1b5d.png?v=1788873180
