The spherical bearing in an end eye lets the damper follow the linkage without side load. Öhlins machines the eye from the same billet as the body on many units. End caps carry adjusters, seals and often the gas valve.

Genuine Service Part

An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation.

Getting the Number Right

The reliable route is the exploded drawing: find the position, read the number, order it — 00125-02 in this case. Check dimension a 12 mm, dimension b 26 mm, dimension c 13.5 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Öhlins machines many eyes from the same billet as the damper body. End caps seal the unit and carry the adjusters; they are matched to the tube they close.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00125-02

Category: End Eyes

Dimension A: 12 mm

Dimension B: 26 mm

Dimension C: 13.5 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00125-02_a2d0d5f3-82f3-4317-9ff2-c8406631e331.png?v=1788868671
