DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Ducati Monster SP, which Accossato lists as the Monster 937 SP, is the sportiest version of the current Monster, with higher-specification suspension and brakes and a livery that makes its intentions clear. It is the Monster most likely to be found on paddock stands at a track day. For the Monster 937 SP from 2023 to 2025, Accossato offers the FC104, a tank cap with quick release made entirely of CNC-machined aluminium, its quick-closing pawl available with six pin colours.

Key Features

  • Quick-release fuel tank cap for the Ducati Monster 937 SP, 2023 to 2025
  • Aluminium throughout, machined on CNC equipment
  • Quick-closing pawl for fast opening and closing
  • Pin in blue, green, black, red, silver or gold
  • Replacement pawl sold separately
  • Accossato part number FC104
  • No German ABE documented; track use

Construction and Material Quality

The SP already carries higher-grade components than the standard Monster, and the FC104 continues in that direction: a cap made entirely of CNC-machined aluminium, which Accossato presents as robust and durable. Its quick-closing pawl lets you into the tank and closes it again in short order, and its pin can be matched to the SP's paint or set against it, with six colours on offer. Accossato calls the design new and eye-catching, and a damaged pawl can be ordered on its own.

Refuelling on the Paddock Stand

On its side stand a motorcycle leans, and so does the fuel inside the tank. That makes the level in the filler neck hard to judge and overfilling easy. At a track day, the better place to refuel the Monster 937 SP is on its paddock stands, with the bike upright and stable. Switch off, give the engine a moment, then open the cap with the quick-closing pawl. Pour slowly through a funnel and watch the level rather than the can. Stop with some space left below the top of the neck, close the cap and check it by hand. Keep the stands, the can and the funnel together in one corner of your paddock space, away from tyre warmers and generators, so the routine is the same after every session.

Fitment and Compatibility

The Monster 937 SP appears in Accossato's list from 2023 to 2025. The standard Monster 937 has a separate entry, and outside the current Monster range the FC104 is also listed for the SuperSport 950 S and the Monster 1200 R. It is worth a quick look at the list to confirm your year.

Road Approval

There is no documented German ABE or expert report, so we sell the FC104 for track use. Original caps lock on most road bikes, and for public roads the Monster 937 SP keeps its factory cap.
