DescriptionThe whole story▼

Parking a CBR1000RR on loose ground outside a clubhouse or on a gravelled paddock pitch is a small, everyday risk that has nothing to do with riding fast: a side stand can sink unevenly, and the bike goes over onto the fairing before anyone's even back in the saddle. For the long-running CBR1000RR built between 2004 and 2016, Accossato's TP113 crash pads give that lower bodywork a sacrificial edge, available with a coloured insert in several finishes.

Key Features

  • Fairing crash pads for the Honda CBR1000RR, 2004 to 2016
  • Accossato part TP113, two pads in the pack, one per side
  • CNC-machined aluminium body with a colour-anodised insert
  • Insert available in blue, green, black, red, silver or gold
  • Optional matching screw cover in the same insert colour
  • Fitting may call for drilling the fairing on some applications
  • Covers the earlier years of the CBR1000RR's long production run
  • No German ABE on file; listed for racing and competition use

Construction and Material Quality

The TP113 body is CNC-machined from aluminium, with a coloured anodised insert fitted into the face of each pad, and a matching screw cover available for those who prefer the fixing covered rather than visible. Two pads make up the pack, one for each side of the fairing. Accossato doesn't state whether further mounting hardware beyond the pads is supplied, so that point is left open rather than assumed one way or the other.

Standstill Falls Off the Track

Not every fall happens mid-corner. A side stand that sinks into soft gravel, a gust of wind catching the fairing while the bike is parked, or a clumsy nudge from another bike squeezed in alongside it in a crowded paddock can all tip a CBR1000RR onto its side while it's standing still. In those moments the fairing is usually what grounds out first, and the pad takes that scuff rather than the painted panel underneath it. Ask us before ordering whether drilling is required on your particular year, since Accossato's documentation flags this without listing every model it applies to.

Fitment and Compatibility

This TP113 listing covers the CBR1000RR built from 2004 to 2016; given the length of this production run, confirm your exact year against the current application list before ordering. The same bike also takes the PF011 and PF051 front sliders, the PP071 rear sliders and the TP047 crash pads in our range.

Road Approval

There's no German ABE or comparable approval paperwork for the TP113, so we list this pair for racing and competition use on the CBR1000RR rather than for use on public roads.
