This MY002 kit pairs Accossato's quick throttle control with the GR001 one-tone grip for the early Kawasaki ZX-10 R (2011–2015). Grip and cap are both anodised across eight colours, drawn from the same range, so the whole control can be specified as a single shade. The two-piece aluminium housing is CNC-cut and comes with the ZX011 cable set built for this generation of ZX-10 R, together with three internal cams of 40, 43 and 45 mm for setting the throttle's pick-up.

Construction and Material Quality
Each housing half starts as aluminium stock, is CNC-machined to shape and then anodised; because GR001 is a single-colour grip, it draws from the same eight-shade palette as the cap rather than needing a separate colour chart of its own. The three cams supplied with the kit, 40, 43 and 45 mm, sit inside that housing and are what actually governs the throttle's feel, not the grip or cap finish, which only affect appearance. All three cams travel in the box regardless of which one ends up fitted, so changing the setting later does not mean sourcing a separate part.
An Early Literbike Brought Up to Date
The 2011–2015 ZX-10 R predates ride-by-wire on some markets, and a worn or stretched stock cable on a bike this age is a common reason owners look at a replacement throttle control before anything else. Fitting the MY002 resets that part of the bike to new condition and adds the option of a sharper cam at the same time, useful for a ZX-10 R that has moved from pure road use into occasional trackdays as it has aged out of being anyone's only motorcycle. A fresh cable also removes the vague, rubbery feel that an old one develops long before it actually fails, which is often what prompts the search for a replacement in the first place.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists this kit, with the ZX011 cable set, for the Kawasaki ZX-10 R (2011–2015); exact production years are given in the Fitment tab on this page. The ZX011 cables are specific to this generation and do not fit the later 2016–2020 ZX-10 R, which uses its own ZX012 set, so confirming the registration year before ordering matters more here than on bikes with a longer, unbroken production run.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or parts certificate documented by Accossato for the MY002; registration rules depend on the country, so check before road use. As with any throttle control, make sure the grip returns on its own to the idle position once fitted.
