DescriptionThe whole story▼
Modern enduro boots are big. Hinged ankles, thick shin plates and stiff, broad soles protect the lower leg well, but they also change how the foot sits on a peg compared with a trainer or a road boot. On a GasGas EC 250, a two-stroke enduro ridden standing for much of every loop, the way the boot meets the peg becomes noticeable. Accossato's enlarged footpegs made of Ergal are listed for the EC 250 of 2021 to 2023, in orange or black.
Key Features
- Enlarged footpegs for the GasGas EC 250, 2021 to 2023

- Accossato's use: motocross, enduro and off-road
- Orange or black
- Pair of pegs, left and right
- Also listed for the EC 300 and the Husqvarna FE 250 and FE 350
- No ABE on file; competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Ergal is the material, a high-strength aluminium alloy, and the pegs are enlarged: those are the two facts Accossato gives, along with the purpose, motocross, enduro and off-road riding. A larger platform suits the broad soles of current enduro boots, which can overhang a narrow peg. The set consists of a left and a right peg in the same colour, orange or black. On the red bodywork of an EC 250, black is the discreet choice.
Big Boots on the Pegs
New boots need breaking in, and the first rides in them feel wooden. The sole is stiff, the ankle barely bends, and the rider cannot feel the peg or the controls as clearly as before. Most riders adapt within a few hours, and a few things help. Wear the boots around the workshop first, work the ankle hinges and ride an easy loop before a race. Check older boots as well: a sole worn smooth in the middle, where it rests on the peg, slides more easily.
Boot size also changes how the controls feel. A bulky toe box can meet the gear lever at a different point, and a thick sole sits higher over the brake pedal. After fitting new pegs, sit on the EC 250 in your riding boots and check both: set the gear lever so it can be reached without lifting the foot off the peg, and the pedal so that a light touch brings the brake in. A broader peg supports the full width of a broad sole, and with the controls set to match, the feet can stay where they belong.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists this set for the GasGas EC 250 from 2021 to 2023, and our listing follows. No other Accossato footpeg is listed for the bike. The same pair also appears in our shop for the EC 300 and for the Husqvarna FE 250 and FE 350. Keep the original pins and springs if they are in good condition, and clean and grease the pivots while the old pegs are off.
Road Approval
There is no German ABE or other approval for these footpegs in our files, so we supply them for competition.
