The Turismo Veloce Lusso RC SCS 800 is the touring half of MV Agusta's three-cylinder family, a machine built for long routes that still carries the firm's racing manners. Most owners use it between towns rather than between corner markers, yet a good number end up at a circuit for a riding course, and there the filler is opened several times in a day instead of once. Accossato covers the Turismo Veloce 800 with the FC101, a quick-release fuel tank cap machined from aluminium whose pawl comes in a choice of six colours.

Construction and Material Quality
Every part of the FC101 body is aluminium taken from solid stock and shaped on CNC machines, which is what lies behind Accossato's description of it as robust and durable; the styling is new. In use the interesting piece is the quick-closing pawl, which lets the Turismo Veloce's tank be opened with one movement and shut with another. The pin carried by that pawl is the coloured element, chosen at the time of ordering from blue, green, black, red, silver and gold. Should it be knocked about, Accossato supplies the pawl as a separate item instead of expecting you to buy a second cap.
