DescriptionThe whole story▼
The CB750 Hornet with E-Clutch, listed by Accossato for 2026, lets the bike's electronics take care of the clutch when pulling away, stopping and changing gear. The lever on the left is still there for riders who want it, but in daily use the right hand becomes the busier one. Braking to a halt no longer involves pulling the clutch, so the front brake lever is often the only hand control you touch at a junction. The Accossato EDF018 is a machined aluminium brake lever for this bike's original master cylinder, adjustable for reach.
Key Features
- Front brake lever for the Honda CB750 Hornet E-Clutch, 2026
- Mounts on the original master cylinder
- Reach adjustable at the pivot end
- Standard blade approximately 138 mm; short and long blades too
- Black hub, seven anodised blade colours
- Machined aluminium, fixed blade, no folding joint
- No German ABE documented; offered for track use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's EDF018 is cut from aluminium by CNC machining and finished by anodising. Its hub is black and contains the pivot and the adjuster, and its blade is fixed rigidly to the hub in the colour you choose. There is no hinge, so every change in finger pressure is passed on without delay. On a bike where the brake lever does more of the work at low speed, that direct connection makes smooth, gentle stops easier to judge.
Coming to a Stop in Gear
With E-Clutch, you can roll up to a junction in gear, brake to a standstill and wait, and the system disengages the clutch for you so that the engine does not stall. When the way is clear, you simply open the throttle. For riders new to the system, the unusual part is how little the left hand does. All of the stopping now comes from the right hand and the right foot, and the moment when the bike comes to rest, which used to be coordinated with the clutch, is controlled by the front brake alone. That makes the last metres of every stop worth practising. Ease the lever pressure just before the bike halts, so that the fork rises gently rather than rebounding, and hold the bike still with a light, steady squeeze. Set the EDF018 so that your fingers reach it with the wrist straight, and choose the length that suits the way you brake. On the CB750 Hornet E-Clutch, the brake lever is the control you will use most in town.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the EDF018 for the CB750 Hornet E-Clutch of the 2026 model year, fitted to the original master cylinder. The same brake lever is listed for the conventional CB750 Hornet from 2023 to 2026. If your Hornet is from a later model year, compare its lever with the product photos before ordering.
Road Approval
No German ABE is documented for this part, so we sell it exclusively for track use.
