Öhlins specifies thread-locking compound by position; not every fastener wants it.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 01046-06

Original Öhlins service part

Where It Sits

This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. These are the parts that are easy to lose on the bench and impossible to improvise afterwards. A plug that seals a gas port is a pressure part despite its size. Sealing washers are consumables — they take their shape on first assembly and do not seal twice.

Original Öhlins Part

The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you.

Identifying the Right Part

Part number 01046-06 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Sealing washers are consumables — they take their shape on first assembly and do not seal twice. Shoulder screws set a clearance as well as clamping.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 01046-06

Category: Screws

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/01046-06_1847c7ff-dfb7-4056-9de3-7415d1b52e04.png?v=1788873018
