A cracked bracket is a safety matter, not a cosmetic one.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 21628-26

Function

This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. Adaptor pieces let one damper body serve several mounting geometries. Fender brackets carry the mudguard on machines where the fork leg has no mounting of its own. Öhlins machines its housings from solid rather than casting them, which keeps the bores true.

Genuine Service Part

This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 21628-26 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Housing threads carry the adjusters and are the part that suffers if the adjuster is forced. Mounting hardware is specific to the machine and the unit it belongs to.

Fitting and Setup Service

Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21628-26

Category: Fender Brackets

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21628-26_c22d334c-6ed1-47e1-8a4c-f00442d972ca.png?v=1788879734
