The offset-hole version of the L7 GSX-R 1000 right-hand switch. The JP PLDB 011 is drilled for master cylinders with stepped clamp bolts.

Two Drillings, One Motorcycle
JetPrime supplies this switch for the L7 as a universal plate and as this dedicated offset version. The dedicated one is the narrower package and sits closer to the master cylinder, which frees space on a bar that on a track bike is usually carrying a lap timer as well.
Establishing Which You Need
Look at the clamp half currently fitted. If one bolt sits ahead of the other relative to the bar axis, the geometry is offset and this is the correct part. Deducing it from the cylinder's brand is unreliable, since manufacturers change the spacing between generations of the same product.
The Last GSX-R 1000
Suzuki ended the L7 in 2021 without replacing it, which makes this generation the final chapter of a line that ran from 1985. Owners are aware of that, and it shows in how thoroughly these bikes are looked after and how readily parts are bought for them.
What the Right Hand Does
Starter, kill switch, ride mode and on this generation the traction control adjustment. The last of those is used mid-session as tyres go off, which means operating a button while cornering. A machined step around each control is what allows that without looking.
Four Colours
Black, titanium, blue and red. Blue continues Suzuki's own racing scheme; the other three are quieter. All are anodised through the surface rather than painted.
Sealed Elements
The contacts inside are sealed units and the body is milled from a single block with no moulded joint. On a bike washed after every session and stored in a van between them, water ingress ends more switchgear than wear ever does.
