The Beast
KTM's own nickname stuck because it fits. A hundred and eighty horsepower under a wide flat handlebar makes the right hand the thing that decides how the ride goes.
How Far the Standard Grip Turns
Most manufacturers use somewhere between seventy and ninety degrees so that a novice cannot open it accidentally. Sixty is a deliberate move away from that.
An Hour on the Bench
Bar end out, grip off, switchgear loosened, assembly swapped, everything back. The reset afterwards is what turns it into an appointment rather than an evening.
Reversible in Half an Hour
The standard assembly refits with its own hardware, and the reset routine is run once more. There is nothing to undo beyond that.
After a Battery Disconnect

Riding Standing Up
Off road the wrist grips from above rather than behind, and a shortened rotation leaves less room to meter drive on a loose surface. That is exactly where metering matters most, which is worth weighing before ordering for a tall machine.
What Arrives
The throttle assembly and nothing else. Grips, bar ends, mirrors and switchgear are the rider's own and carry over. Anybody expecting a boxed kit of accessories will be disappointed, and anybody who has read the listing will not.
