A Column Rearranged
The same controls in a different sequence, chosen around what gets used repeatedly at a circuit. It takes one session to stop noticing and stays useful for as long as the bike is owned.
Changed More on an S
Semi-active suspension adds another set of parameters to manage, and they get adjusted between runs like everything else. The left block carries all of it.
The Wash Bay Again
Hot water on warm aluminium after every outing. Ingress rather than mileage is what ends competition switchgear and sealed elements inside a milled body remove the route.
A Season in a Van
Damp, cold and constantly vibrating. It is a harsher environment than most track sessions and it is where a clipped moulded cover quietly loses its tension.
Black or Titanium
Both grown into the aluminium. Against the S's gold components, titanium sits closest without attempting a match, which generally reads better than an approximation.

Race eCBS
Combined braking developed for circuit use, applying a measured amount of rear brake from the front lever. Ducati built it in racing rather than buying it in.

Kerb weight with fluids. The saving came from the frame, the swingarm and the wheels rather than from one dramatic decision.
Aerodynamics in Two Layers
The 2025 fairing produces more downforce with less drag than the bolted-on wings it replaced, which is a harder achievement than simply adding more surface.
A Superbike That Sells
The V4 has outsold every Ducati flagship before it, which is unusual for a motorcycle at this price and this level of focus. Enough of them reach circuits that a dedicated race control layout is a sensible product rather than a curiosity for a handful of teams.
