The JP ES 007 takes the PAIR solenoid off the V-Strom 800 without a fault code following.

The New Parallel Twin
The 776 cc engine from the GSX-8S, with a 270 degree crank and two balancer shafts. Suzuki designed it from scratch and then used it across three models.
A Genuine Off-Road Version
The DE variant carries a twenty-one inch front wheel and long travel, which is a considerably more serious specification than the V-Strom name usually implies.
Secondary Air
Injected into the exhaust ports so unburnt fuel finishes burning there. It exists for emissions certification and produces the popping on a closed throttle.
The Monitored Circuit
The ECU checks the solenoid at every start. Removing it without an eliminator leaves a permanent warning on the display.
The Head Ports
They need a separate cover. Only doing the electrical half means the dashboard is quiet and the air still flows.
Three Model Years
This fitment covers 2023 to 2025, the first years of the platform. Suzuki is still expanding the range around this engine.
Before Any Tuning
Injected oxygen corrupts the lambda reading. On a new platform where mapping work is still developing, an honest baseline matters more than usual.
Emissions Approval
Removing the system changes the motorcycle's registration status, which on an adventure bike crossing borders is worth thinking about.
Nothing Spliced
Suzuki's own connector. The solenoid returns for an inspection without any trace.
The DE Is the Interesting One
Suzuki offers the 800 with either a nineteen or a twenty-one inch front wheel, and only the larger one turns the bike into something genuinely capable off tarmac. It is a rare case of a manufacturer offering a real choice rather than a cosmetic one, and the DE has found an audience accordingly.
