The JP MJ 001 takes the SuperSport 950 S's factory mixture and adds the correction the engine actually wants, without any of the original electronics being reprogrammed.

The Loaded Version
Full electronics and Ohlins at both ends. It is the SuperSport bought by riders who intend to use it rather than to commute on it.
An Evening's Work at Most
Seat off, tank lifted on some models, connectors separated, module plugged in and tied down. There is nothing to configure and nothing to learn afterwards, which is unusual for anything electronic on a motorcycle.
On a Current Machine
Euro 5 mapping is tighter and better resolved than anything before it, which means the gains are smaller and mostly confined to the transition off a closed throttle.
After a Silencer
The standard controller's closed-loop correction covers a narrow band and gives up outside it. A module extends the correction into the part of the map where a freer exhaust actually changes things.
No Settings to Get Wrong
A preset curve cannot be misconfigured, cannot be lost when a battery is disconnected and cannot be blamed for a fault six months later. That reliability is the argument for buying the simpler of the two units.
A Component That Disappears
Once fitted it requires nothing further. There is no season of adjustment, no software update and no reason to think about it again.
A Second Opinion Worth Having
Ride the motorcycle for a week paying attention to the first eighth of throttle travel. If nothing about it irritates, the honest answer is that this module has nothing to fix.
The Owner Who Should Buy One
Someone who has already fitted a silencer, notices the fuelling and does not want a project. That describes a great many riders and this is a product built for them.
