The JP MJ 001 is the Memjet EVO power module for the Multistrada 1260, a preset fuel module that corrects the mixture without anything being written to the motorcycle's own electronics.

A Longer Stroke
Ducati borrowed the Diavel's crankshaft to give the Multistrada more low-rev torque, which suited a heavy touring motorcycle far better than revs did.
The Loom Is Model Specific
The module is common; the harness that connects it is not. JetPrime supplies the wiring for the chosen motorcycle, which is why the catalogue lists machines rather than engine sizes and why a part from another model is not a shortcut.
Where Manufacturers Run Lean
Cruise, small openings and the range the emissions cycle measures. Those are the conditions a test procedure examines, and they are also the conditions a rider spends most of their time in on a road.
Where It Makes the Biggest Difference
An older injected machine with an aftermarket exhaust, ridden briskly on roads. That combination is where the standard mixture is furthest from what the engine now wants.
Reading the Fault Memory
Untouched electronics report honestly. On a machine with a flashed controller a diagnostic session is a negotiation; on one with a module it is simply a diagnostic session.
What a Module Cannot Reach
Ignition timing, the rev limiter, the throttle map on a ride-by-wire machine and every electronic rider aid. All of those belong to the standard controller and stay there.
Track Days
On a circuit the throttle is either shut or open and the transition matters less than it does on a road. Riders who only ride circuits will notice this module least.
After a Service
Nothing about the module needs resetting when the motorcycle is serviced. Filters, plugs and oil changes have no interaction with it whatsoever.
