It is routed to run from the clamp to the throttle bodies along the exact path this chassis needs, and it is listed as compatible with Accossato's own quick-throttle controls across the whole MY001 to MY009 range, so the set works whichever of those grips is fitted. Fitting it keeps the full response of a quick-action throttle intact on this particular RSV4.

Key Features

Dedicated throttle cable set for the Aprilia RSV4 RF (2015–2016)

Replaces the factory cable run without trimming a universal length

Listed as compatible with Accossato quick-throttle controls MY001 to MY009

Routed to match the RSV4 RF's clamp-to-throttle-body path

Sold under code AP010, specific to this chassis and year range

Keeps a quick-throttle's reduced opening travel working as intended

Supplied as the cable set only, for fitting to an existing Accossato control

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato lists the AP010 as a cable set rather than a cut-to-length universal item, made to the route the RSV4 RF needs between the handlebar clamp and the throttle bodies. It is catalogued against the full MY001 to MY009 range of Accossato's own quick-throttle controls, so a single cable code stays correct whichever of those grip bodies ends up fitted, and it is sold on its own rather than bundled with the control itself.

Throttle Response on Track

On a bike built for trackdays, the cable decides as much as the grip whether a quick-throttle actually feels quick. A cable cut too long, or re-routed loosely around the RSV4 RF's tank and frame rails, adds slack that blunts the shorter throw Accossato's cam profiles are meant to give; a dedicated set avoids that by matching the path this model already has. Riders moving an RSV4 RF onto an Accossato quick-throttle only get the full benefit of the shorter cam travel once this cable, not a generic one, is in place.

Fitment and Compatibility

The AP010 is built for the Aprilia RSV4 RF produced in 2015 and 2016 only; earlier and later RSV4 variants use different Accossato cable codes, so the model and year should be checked against the Fitment tab before ordering. It is meant to run to an Accossato quick-throttle control already fitted, or being fitted, to this RSV4 RF, not to the standard factory throttle housing.

Road Approval

There is no ABE or parts certificate documented by Accossato for the AP010 cable set; registration rules depend on the country, so check before road use.

Scope of Delivery

1x Accossato throttle cable set for the Aprilia RSV4 RF.

Specifications

Part number: AP010

Type: Dedicated throttle cable set

Compatible throttle control: Accossato MY001–MY009

Fitment: Aprilia RSV4 RF (2015–2016)

Road approval: No ABE documented
