DescriptionThe whole story▼
Before a young rider takes a CRF150R to the start gate, the bike has to pass technical control. At an organised motocross meeting someone from the organisers checks each machine before practice, and the levers are among the first things they look at. A lever that has snapped to a sharp stub can be turned away, because a jagged end is a hazard to the rider and to anyone nearby in a fall. For the CRF150R of 2007 to 2018, Accossato's AGD93 is a silver replacement brake lever in the original form.

Construction and Material Quality
The AGD93 is a replacement of the original type: it takes the form of the lever Honda fitted, with nothing added and nothing changed. Accossato developed these spares for value for money and adds that its manufacturing process gives them more resistance after damage or a crash. The lever is silver. The company publishes no material or dimensions for it, so we do not quote any.
Through Technical Control
Technical control is quick if the bike is ready, and most of what the scrutineer looks for can be checked at home the evening before. Levers should be intact, with rounded ends rather than broken edges, and they should move freely and return on their own. Bars and grips should be secure, the ends of the handlebar closed, and nothing on the bike should be loose or leaking. If the brake lever of your CRF150R was damaged at the last meeting, replace it rather than filing a broken end smooth or bending it back; a repaired lever may pass a glance, but not a hard stop at the end of a straight. Fit the AGD93 with the pivot cleaned and given a trace of grease, check that it works the piston cleanly, and squeeze it firmly a few times to feel for a solid pressure point. Keep the rulebook of your club or federation to hand, since the details of technical control vary from one organiser to the next.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGD93 for the CRF150R from 2007 to 2018. For the 2024 bike the replacement brake lever is the AGD275, and for 2019 to 2023 no original-type brake lever appears on Accossato's list. With us the AGD93 is also listed for the CRF150F, the CRF230F and the CRF450R. For the clutch, Accossato names two replacement levers, the AGS271 and the AGS74, and its CNC levers for the CRF150R are B8206 on the brake side and C7101 on the clutch.
Road Approval
No test or approval documents exist for the AGD93 in our records, which rules out a German ABE and a test mark. Inter-Pace lists it for racing and competition.
