DescriptionThe whole story▼
The KTM 990 RC R is a full-faired supersport machine, but even a bike like this spends many hours on ordinary roads: riding to meet friends, filling up, crawling through a village. Accossato's AGPP91 rear pad in the Organic mixture fits the 990 RC R from 2025 to 2026. It suits owners who mainly ride on public roads, want a soft and quiet rear for slow manoeuvres and would like the rear disc to wear as little as possible.
Key Features
- Rear pads AGPP91 for the KTM 990 RC R, 2025 to 2026
- Organic mixture, SKU AGPP91OR
- Accossato says it lasts well and is gentle on the disc
- Soft, progressive rear for low-speed riding
- Generally quiet on the road
- Accossato also lists the RC 990 R Track of 2025
- Same rear plate available as ST and STMX
- No ABE on file with us; for track use
Construction and Material Quality
In Accossato's words, this mixture gives longer performance and limits wear on the disc. On a supersport bike, where the rear brake plays a supporting role on the road, those two properties matter more than aggressive bite. The company adds that its pads curb fade by limiting heat build-up, and that they provide strong stopping. The friction face is bonded to the standard AGPP91 plate.
A Sports Bike at Walking Pace
Clip-on bars and a sporty riding position make slow riding on a supersport more demanding than on an upright bike. Turning around in a narrow road or edging forward in a queue is easier when the rider can trim speed with the rear alone, rather than grabbing the front and pitching the bike forward. A soft rear pad makes that gentle control possible. The Organic compound also bites well from cold, which is normal on short trips when the brake never warms up.
Clean the rear disc regularly, since chain lube tends to reach it, and check pad thickness during each chain service. Keep the rear reservoir within its marks.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPP91 for the rear of the KTM 990 RC R for model years 2025 and 2026, and additionally names the RC 990 R Track version of 2025. No front pad or disc from Accossato is catalogued for this bike. Compare your old pads with the new set before fitting.
Road Approval
AGPP91OR comes without ABE or approval paperwork in our files, so it is sold for racing and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
Two Organic pads for the single rear caliper.
