The MY004 pairs Accossato's quick-throttle housing with the GR002 grip for the Yamaha YZF-R1 built between 2015 and 2019, supplied with the matched YA013 cable and three interchangeable inner cams. As with the GR002 option on other bikes in this range, there is no separate grip colour to choose, only the cap finish, while the housing, cable and cam options match the GR001-equipped MY002 and the GR006-equipped MY008 built for this same R1.

Construction and Material Quality
The MY004 starts from the same two-half-ring aluminium housing, anodised in eight cap colours, used across every kit Accossato sells in this range. Fitted to it is the GR002 grip, which unlike the GR001 or GR006 has no colour range of its own, so the cap finish is the only choice made at ordering. Three inner cams, 40, 43 and 45 mm, come included regardless, with Accossato tying a bigger one to a quicker and longer-travel throttle and a smaller one to the opposite. The YA013 cable in the box applies to this R1 and the closely related R1M alike.
The Flagship-Capable Kit Without a Grip Colour Choice
An R1M owner fitting the MY004 ends up with the same GR002 grip, cap-colour-only decision as a standard R1 owner choosing this kit, since Accossato does not vary the grip options by model. What sets the choice between the MY002, MY004 and MY008 for this R1 apart is purely the grip itself, GR001's eight colours against GR002's fixed finish against GR006's two-tone five, since the YA013 cable and the cam options are identical across all three kits built for this R1 and its R1M sibling.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's data covers the Yamaha R1 from 2015 to 2019 and the related R1M through 2018 under this same MY004 listing; which year applies to a given bike is worth confirming on the Fitment tab rather than assumed from the model name alone. The assembly as a whole takes the place of the Yamaha's original throttle control and cable run.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or parts certificate documented by Accossato for the MY004; registration rules depend on the country, so check before road use. After fitting, confirm that the throttle returns to idle by itself through its full range before riding the bike.
