DescriptionThe whole story▼
The AT002 is Accossato's standard actuator for its hydraulic clutch conversion kits, the same 10.5 mm-piston actuator supplied as standard equipment in kits such as the HS053, now sold on its own as a spare or replacement part. Accossato recommends it alongside a 14 mm clutch master cylinder and specifies an M8x1 brake hose connection, with the mounting screw included. Six stem lengths are available, from 32-42 mm up to 98-108 mm, and DOT 4 is the only fluid the system should run.
Key Features
- Actuator for Accossato's hydraulic clutch conversion kits
- 10.5 mm piston diameter
- Six stem length options, from 32-42 mm to 98-108 mm
- Recommended with a 14 mm clutch master cylinder
- M8x1 brake hose connection, screw included
- DOT 4 fluid only
- Made in Italy
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato builds the AT002 in Italy with a fixed 10.5 mm piston, a larger bore than its AT001 sibling, and specifies the part for use with a 14 mm clutch master cylinder rather than leaving the pairing open. The brake hose connects at M8x1, with the mounting screw supplied, and the six stem lengths on offer mean the actuator can be ordered to the reach a given installation needs rather than adapted after the fact.
The Actuator Behind the HS0 Kits
This is the same 10.5 mm actuator Accossato fits as standard inside its complete hydraulic clutch kits, the AT002-64-73 version supplied in the HS053 conversion for several naked and adventure motorcycles being one example. Buying it separately covers two situations: replacing a worn or damaged actuator from an existing kit, or building a conversion from individual Accossato parts rather than a pre-packaged set. Either way, the piston diameter and master cylinder recommendation stay fixed; only the stem length needs matching to the application.
Fitment and Compatibility
The AT002 is sold as a spare and replacement part across Accossato's hydraulic clutch range rather than tied to a single motorcycle. The stem length needs to match the installation it is going into, from the shortest 32-42 mm option to the longest at 98-108 mm, and the recommended 14 mm clutch master cylinder should already be fitted or specified alongside it. Checking the original actuator's stem length, or the instructions for the kit it belongs to, is the way to confirm the right version. Our garage links it to the bikes for which Accossato offers a hydraulic clutch conversion, and those models are named in the Fitment tab.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or parts certificate documented by Accossato for the AT002; registration rules depend on the country, so check before road use.
