DescriptionThe whole story▼
The MV Agusta F3 800 is a compact motorcycle, and taller riders notice it the moment they sit down: knees folded high, hips close to the tank, not much room to move. Before fitting rearsets that put the feet further back, it is worth thinking about how your own body fits the bike. Accossato's FT060 rearsets for the F3 800 of 2013 to 2019 keep the standard shift, come in black and change the riding position in one documented way: the footrests sit further back than MV's.

Construction and Material Quality
The FT060 is made from aluminium, and Accossato keeps its design simple and functional. Grip comes from knurling on the footpegs and on the ends of the gear lever and brake pedal, while aluminium plates protect the heels. The set is supplied in black only. Accossato calls it adjustable, but it explains neither the adjustment nor the number of positions, which is worth knowing if you are tall and hoping for a particular setting: ask us before you order.
Tall Riders on a Compact Bike
Accossato states only that the footrests sit further back than the originals; it says nothing about height. For a tall rider, that distinction matters. Moving the feet back tends to tilt the upper body forward and ease the reach to the bars, which many riders find natural on a supersport. Whether the knee angle becomes tighter or more open depends on your own proportions and on how you sit, and nobody can predict it from a catalogue.
So test it before you ride. Put the F3 800 on a paddock stand, ideally with a helper holding it steady, and sit on it in the leathers and boots you use on track. Check four things: that your knees fit against the tank without your hips being pushed back against the tail; that the balls of your feet rest on the pegs with the heels near the guards; that the toe reaches the gear lever without the foot leaving the peg; and that you can tuck behind the screen without your knees colliding with your elbows. If one of these fails at a standstill, it will be worse at the end of a session. A workshop can then set the levers to suit your boots before the first ride.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the FT060 for the F3 800 and the F3 800 RC; we list it for the F3 800 from 2013 to 2019. The rearsets replace the rider's original footrests with their controls and keep the standard pattern. After fitting, the workshop should adjust both linkages, check the brake pedal's free play and the brake light, and tighten every fastener to MV Agusta's figures, using thread lock as the manual prescribes.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or parts certificate on file for the FT060, and so it is not approved for German public roads. We offer it for the track.
