The JP ACC KT016 puts a sixty degree rotation on the 990 Duke in place of the standard assembly, and leaves every riding mode and rider aid exactly as it was.

The New Middleweight
KTM replaced the 890 with a 947 cc twin and a sharper chassis, keeping the wide bars and the aggressive delivery the family is known for.
Machined From Solid
Ergal cut on a machine rather than moulded, which is what allows the internal ratio to be held to a figure instead of to a tolerance band.
Learning It Takes One Session
The first few corners feel abrupt because the hand is still travelling the old distance. By the end of an afternoon the new sweep is the one the wrist expects.
Quickshifters
The shift sensor sits at the gear lever and the strategy sits in the controller. Neither has any relationship with the throttle assembly.
After a Battery Disconnect
Some models lose adaptations when the battery comes off, which is a reason to do the electrical work and the throttle change in the same session.
Adventure Bikes
The tall models in this list spend time on gravel, and a sensitive throttle standing on the pegs is a different proposition from a sensitive throttle on a circuit.
On a Motorcycle With Modes
The softest mode still softens and the sharpest still sharpens. What changes is the distance travelled to reach whichever response the mode provides.
Who This Suits
A rider who opens and closes the throttle deliberately on a machine ridden hard enough that the hand runs out of rotation first. Track riders, fast road riders and anybody with small hands notice it at once. A commuter in traffic gains nothing at all.
Checking It Later
There is no service interval, but the clamp screws are worth a glance whenever the bar is being worked on. Everything else about the part is fit and forget, because there is nothing inside to wear or lubricate.
