The JP CJP 092H carries no map at all when it arrives on the NC750S: every cell reads zero and the motorcycle runs exactly as the factory intended until somebody changes that.

The Naked Version
Same low-revving twin without the adventure styling. Honda built it for commuting and it does that better than almost anything else.
Racing Modifications
The manufacturer's own words: exhaust systems and air filters. Those are the changes that move the mixture furthest, and this unit exists to follow them properly rather than approximately.
Altitude and Temperature
The standard controller compensates using its own sensors and this unit applies its map on top. A map developed at sea level still works in the mountains, only less precisely.
Bought Properly
With a measured mixture and methodical sessions it produces a motorcycle that fuels correctly everywhere, which is something no preset curve can promise.
Paying for a Map
A dyno session with somebody who knows the engine costs a fraction of the motorcycle and delivers in hours what a winter of evenings might not.
Mount It Where the Cable Reaches
The single most useful piece of installation advice: put the USB connection somewhere accessible. Mapping means connecting repeatedly and buried units get mapped once.
Cold Starting
Warm-up enrichment is the standard controller's job. A map can be shaped for a cold engine but the fundamental strategy is not this unit's to change.
Disabling Nothing
The unit does not switch anything off. It works alongside the standard strategies rather than around them, which is why the fault memory stays clean.
A Map Has No Ceiling
Unlike a fixed curve it can keep improving as long as somebody keeps working on it. That is the argument for the higher price and it is only worth anything to an owner who will do the work.
