The JP CJP 014R carries no map at all when it arrives on the RSV4 RR: every cell reads zero and the motorcycle runs exactly as the factory intended until somebody changes that.

The Base Tune
Conventional suspension and the same engine mapped a little more gently for the road. That gap between road map and engine capability is where an added fuel module earns its keep.
The Original Electronics Are Untouched
Ignition timing, the rev limiter, traction control and every riding mode stay with the standard controller. This unit manages fuel quantity and has no access to anything else.
Class Regulations
Some championships restrict what may manage the engine. An added fuel controller is permitted in many and prohibited in a few, and the rulebook is the only authority.
The Standard Controller Keeps Watching
Its protections, its limiter and its rider aids all continue to operate. Nothing about the added map disables anything the factory built in.
The Standard Sensor Is Not Enough
A narrowband oxygen sensor only reports near stoichiometric. It cannot tell you what the mixture is doing at full load, which is exactly where you need to know.
Sharing Is a Starting Point
A file from an identical motorcycle saves the first evening and no more. Engines, sensors and exhausts vary enough that the last ten percent is always local work.
The Wideband Purchase
Budget for it alongside the unit. Mapping without one is the commonest reason a programmable controller ends up doing nothing at all.
Injector Duty
At very high loads an injector approaches its limit. A map that asks for more fuel than the hardware can deliver simply does not get it, which is worth knowing before chasing numbers.
Support and the Community
JetPrime answer questions about their own software, and enough owners run these units that most engines have been mapped by somebody before. Neither replaces measuring your own motorcycle.
