The JP ES 007 sits in the SuperSport 950's own connector in place of the secondary air valve, and it is the reason the panel stays dark once the hardware is gone.

A Hundred and Ten Horsepower
From the 937 cc Testastretta, adjusted for Euro 5. The engine is the most usable Ducati builds and it suits the chassis precisely.
Where the Crackle Comes From
Residue igniting in a hot header on a trailing throttle. It is not the fuelling and it is not the silencer, and no map has ever cured it.
A Twin Sounds Different
Two large cylinders produce widely spaced exhaust pulses, and residue burning between them is more distinct than on a four. Owners of the big twins notice this most.
Blocking the Hose Achieves Nothing
The reeds stay in place and the ports stay open behind them. A blocked line moves the problem rather than removing it.
Check the Market Specification
Not every machine in every market carries the full arrangement. Five minutes with a torch under the tank settles it before anything is ordered.
A Straight Swap
Unplug the valve, plug in the eliminator, secure the lead. There is no third step and no configuration of any kind at any point.
Storage Under the Bodywork
The eliminator needs to sit somewhere it cannot chafe, which usually means a cable tie to an existing loom run rather than being left loose.
Reading the Fault Before Ordering
The stored code says which circuit the controller lost, not why. A solenoid that has failed electrically and a reed that has cracked mechanically produce different symptoms, and the second one shows itself in the airbox rather than on the panel. Anybody buying the electrical half alone should look inside the airbox first, because a sooted element means the housing needs attention too and the evening is better spent doing both.
Alongside an Aftermarket Exhaust
A different silencer changes what the exhaust gas is doing but not what the secondary air system injects into it, so the two are entirely separate decisions. Owners often make them in the same week, which is fine, but the mapping should follow both rather than sitting between them and being redone twice.
