The JP MJ 008 adds a fuel correction to the Tenere 700 where the factory map had to be careful, and does it without a laptop, a dyno session or a remap.

A Rally Bike With Plates
Yamaha put the CP2 twin in a long-travel chassis with a twenty-one inch front. Its mapping is deliberately soft at the bottom for traction.
Preset, Not Programmable
There is no laptop, no software and no session on a dyno. JetPrime supplies the module with a curve worked out for that engine, and the owner's job ends at plugging it in. That is the whole difference between this and the programmable unit alongside it.
The Modest Claim
Improve throttle response and smoothness without remapping. That is what the manufacturer says and it is what the product does. There is no third page of promises and there does not need to be.
Between the Loom and the Injectors
The module is wired in series with the injector circuit, which is the least invasive place to intervene in a modern motorcycle. Everything upstream carries on unaware and everything downstream simply receives a slightly different instruction.
One Harness Per Motorcycle
The connectors differ between models and sometimes between years of the same model. That is why this is sold per machine and why the year span in the listing is worth reading before ordering.
What a Module Cannot Reach
Ignition timing, the rev limiter, the throttle map on a ride-by-wire machine and every electronic rider aid. All of those belong to the standard controller and stay there.
The Airbox Lid
Owners sometimes drill or remove it hoping for the same result. That changes airflow without changing fuel and generally makes the mixture problem worse rather than better.
Fitting Without a Manual
The connectors only mate one way and the harness is cut to length. There is genuinely nothing to get wrong beyond deciding where to put the module and securing it there.
