The JP MJ 009 is the Memjet EVO power module for the VZR Intruder M1800R, a preset fuel module that corrects the mixture without anything being written to the motorcycle's own electronics.

An Enormous Bore
The M1800R uses one of the largest pistons ever fitted to a production motorcycle. Its fuelling is about controlling that mass rather than revving it.
Fuel Consumption
Expect no meaningful change. A richer cruise setting costs a little and a smoother throttle hand saves a little, and in practice the two cancel. Nobody should buy this expecting to notice anything at the pump.
The Diagnostic Question
Because the original controller is untouched, its fault memory stays honest. Anybody who has chased a fault on a motorcycle with a flashed controller understands why that matters.
No Software to Learn
It is worth repeating because it is unusual: this product has no user interface at all. It is plugged in and then it is forgotten about, which is why it suits owners who are not looking for a project.
One Harness Per Motorcycle

Compared With a Remap
A flash of the original controller reaches further and is harder to undo. This is the narrow, cheap, reversible option, and for most road riders it addresses the actual complaint.
Heat
Under a seat is warmer than most owners assume once an engine has been working. The module is built for it, but pressing it against a subframe rail that carries exhaust heat is still worth avoiding.
Big Singles
A thumper is the clearest case of all. With one cylinder and one firing event every other revolution, any hesitation at small openings is felt directly through the chassis.
