DescriptionThe whole story▼
When Kawasaki launched the KX450X in 2021, it gave off-road riders a cross-country machine with KX genes. Owners of the 2021 to 2023 bikes who ride mainly for fun, explore trail networks or join organised enduro rides can fit Accossato's AGPA51 front pad in the Organic mixture. It suits riders who want a predictable, forgiving lever for long days and would like the pads and the front disc to last.
Key Features
- Front pads AGPA51 for the Kawasaki KX450X, 2021 to 2023
- Organic mixture, SKU AGPA51OR
- Accossato: durable and easy on the rotor
- Forgiving feel for long days out
- Low noise on quiet trails
- ST, STMX and EV1 are the other versions
- No ABE held by us; for racing
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato sums up the recipe as long-lasting and protective of the disc. On a KX450X that racks up hours rather than race starts, both points translate into lower running costs over a season. The Italian firm also designs its pads to keep temperatures down so fading is limited, while stopping strongly when needed. The friction block is fixed to the regular AGPA51 plate.
Organised Rides and Weekend Exploring
Many KX450X owners enjoy organised trail rides, where groups follow marked routes through private land for a whole day. The pace is steady, the terrain varied and fatigue sets in by the afternoon. A front brake that is soft to operate helps tired hands, and a pad that bites gently reduces the risk of a surprise on loose gravel.
Plan a quick check at the lunch stop: look at the caliper for mud build-up and spin the wheel to hear whether a pad is dragging. Back home, clean the bike, inspect the pads and check the brake fluid in the front reservoir. A KX450X ridden like this rarely needs anything more aggressive at the front, and the gentle compound makes the bike friendlier for a rider still growing into a big four-stroke.
Fitment and Compatibility
The AGPA51 plate is listed by Accossato for the front of 2021 to 2023 KX450X models. The 2024 bike moves to AGPA29, and the rear reference AGPP106 applies from 2021 to 2024. For discs, Accossato names DK060. Each box holds the pads for one front caliper. Lay your worn pads beside the new ones to confirm the outline.
Road Approval
No ABE or German approval papers exist in our files for AGPA51OR. The pads are intended for competition.
Scope of Delivery
