DescriptionThe whole story▼
On a naked bike the exhaust is in plain sight, and the colour of the pipework sets the tone of the whole machine. Y13909400BCC takes the dark route. Termignoni's complete racing system with black stainless steel collectors and a full carbon silencer.
Key Features
- Racing system for the Yamaha MT-07, model years 2021 to 2026.
- Black stainless steel collectors, silencer entirely in carbon fibre.
- Termignoni figures: up to 2.8 hp more, 3.4 kg less.
- Tested by Termignoni on the automatic-shift Y-AMT bike as well.
- No remap; dB killer removable, lambda plug supplied.
- Not road legal.
Keeping the bike dark
A bright exhaust on an MT-07 is a statement, and quite a few owners only realise after fitting one how much it shifts the look of the bike. The black version keeps the lower half of the bike in one tone: dark engine, dark frame, dark pipes, with the carbon silencer as the one textured detail at the back. On the grey and blue machine in Termignoni's photos, that is what keeps the wheels as the colour accent.
Is the extra money worth it
Mechanically the two Y139 versions are the same system with the same quoted gain and weight saving. In our shop this one costs noticeably more than the stainless and titanium version. Buy this one for the look, not for a number on a test bench.
Living with carbon on a naked bike
Without a fairing, the silencer is more exposed: a drop in a car park or a boot heel against the can will mark carbon where titanium would simply scuff. Reasonable care and a frame slider on the right go a long way.
Fitting and electronics
The system runs on the standard map. The lambda plug closes the sensor port, and Termignoni warn that Euro 5+ bikes may show an error message on the dashboard afterwards. The Y-AMT version with automatic shifting has been tested too. Deliveries begin in October 2026.
Fitment and Compatibility
Yamaha MT-07 from 2021 to 2026, Y-AMT included. The YZF-R7 version is listed separately.
Road Approval
Not road legal: Y13909400BCC has no EC approval and no ABE and is meant for the circuit.
