Öhlins does not sell service parts as pattern equivalents — there is one specification. Öhlins publishes an exploded view for each unit, and every position in it carries its own number. The number on the part matches the number in the drawing, which makes identification unambiguous.

Genuine Service Part

The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. Öhlins lists this part under its own number in the service catalogue so a workshop can order exactly what it needs. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier.

Getting the Number Right

Order under 15428-02. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Check dimension a 10 mm, dimension b 16 mm, dimension c 5 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Öhlins keeps tooling for older units, which is why parts remain available. Öhlins publishes an exploded view for every unit, and each position in it has its own number.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 15428-02

Category: Service Parts

Dimension A: 10 mm

Dimension B: 16 mm

Dimension C: 5 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/15428-02_54cc72e1-d192-4f8b-bf4c-fa4da57c4082.png?v=1788878775
