DescriptionThe whole story▼
Some V85TT owners discover that the bike is a lot of fun on a winding mountain road, and a few even take it to a circuit for an open track session. For them Accossato offers the EV1 street/track compound, designed for spirited road riding and amateur track use. These front pads fit the Moto Guzzi V85TT 850 from 2019 to 2023.
Key Features
- EV1 street/track front pads for the Moto Guzzi V85TT 850
- For model years 2019 to 2023
- Accossato: excellent grip for road riding and amateur track use
- Crisper bite for a brisker pace
- A middle ground between touring and racing pads
- Two pads per box, one caliper
- Rear pad AGPA28 and disc DKS032 listed
Construction and Material Quality
EV1 is Accossato's answer for riders who want more than a commuting pad without going all the way to a race mixture. The maker describes it as offering strong grip on public roads and holding up in amateur circuit sessions. The bite arrives sooner and more clearly at the lever, and the compound is designed to stay consistent once the discs are warm.
The V85TT on a Mountain Road
With its wide bars and neutral steering, the V85TT can be ridden surprisingly quickly through tight bends. That pace needs a front brake with a clear, immediate response at every corner entry. EV1 is intended to provide it, making it easier to set speed precisely before tipping in. On a track day it also gives some reserve, though the bike's long-travel suspension makes smooth, progressive braking more important than raw bite.
Bedding In Both Sides
The front brake has two calipers, so fit two boxes and bed in both sides together with a series of progressively firmer stops. Check that the lever feels firm before your first fast ride.
Fitment and Compatibility
EV1 pads for the front calipers of the Moto Guzzi V85TT 850, 2019 to 2023. Accossato's list for this pad includes the V85 850 TT, the Evocative Graphics edition of 2023 and the Guardia d'Onore of 2022 to 2023. A box covers one caliper, and the V85TT carries two at the front. The same size comes in OR, ST, EV2 and ZXC. Accossato lists AGPA28 for the rear and disc DKS032 for this model.
Road Approval
We do not hold a German ABE or test documentation for these pads, so they are sold for racing and competition.
