DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato built this five-hose set for the Suzuki SV650X produced in 2018 and 2019, keeping the factory routing of the brake lines while swapping the rubber hose for aeronautical braid. The SV650X carries the same brake hardware as its naked sibling, and the stock hoses expand slightly each time the lever is pulled hard, which lets the lever travel grow spongy over repeated stops. Fitting braided lines removes most of that give, so the same amount of lever effort produces a more direct response at the caliper.
Key Features
- Five braided hoses covering the SV650X's complete brake circuit
- Twenty sheath colours to choose from
- Stainless steel fittings as the only offered finish
- Keeps the factory Standard-layout hose routing
- Each hose finished and packaged as part of this one kit
Construction and Material Quality
The braid wound over each inner hose is what keeps the diameter from growing under the pressure a hard stop generates, and the fittings threaded onto both ends of every line are made from solid stainless steel. As this kit is supplied only in bare stainless, all five lines share one finish regardless of which braid colour is chosen, so the hardware never clashes with the sheath. The sheath itself spans twenty colours, letting the owner match the braid to the rest of the bike's finish.
Why the Routing Stays Original
Because this is a Standard-layout kit, Accossato designed it to replace the rubber hoses one for one rather than change how the lines reach the calipers. Each of the five hoses takes the same path the original line took, which means the clips, guides and brackets already on the SV650X continue to hold the new lines in place without modification. That makes the swap a direct hose-for-hose job for a workshop rather than a rerouting exercise.
Fitment and Compatibility
This set is matched to the Suzuki SV650X built between 2018 and 2019. Accossato does not list another layout or hose count for this model in the current range, so this is the only braided brake line kit offered for the SV650X.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 5 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Fittings such as banjo bolts and copper sealing washers are not listed as included, so it is worth checking the connecting hardware already on the bike before starting the job.
