Measure the old part against them before ordering. Hose-mounted reservoirs allow installation where a piggyback would foul the chassis. Öhlins pressure-tests its hoses because a reservoir line carries the full gas charge. Fittings are specific to the hose and the housing they connect.

Original Öhlins Part

Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up.

How to Be Sure It Fits

05225-01 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. dimension a 58 mm, dimension b 46 mm, dimension c 94 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Fittings are specific to the hose and the housing they connect. A separating piston or bladder keeps nitrogen and oil apart; if it fails the damping goes with it.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05225-01

Category: Reservoirs

Dimension A: 58 mm

Dimension B: 46 mm

Dimension C: 94 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05225-01_1fe6ba95-ff78-4682-82c1-4852536f96ba.png?v=1788873961
