A soft reservoir usually means the bladder has failed rather than the gas leaked.

Key Features

Finish: black

Dimension A 36 mm

Öhlins part number 05877-11

Dimension B 70 mm

Original Öhlins service part

Function

Öhlins gives it as 36 mm, 70 mm; nothing about that is approximate. The reservoir takes the oil the shaft displaces as it enters the damper. Öhlins pressure-tests hoses because they carry the full gas charge. Fittings are specific to the hose and the housing they connect.

Why the Original

The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute.

Identifying the Right Part

Part number 05877-11 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Öhlins states dimension a 36 mm, dimension b 70 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. The reservoir takes the oil the shaft displaces as it enters the damper. Fittings are specific to the hose and the housing they connect.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05877-11

Category: Reservoirs

Dimension A: 36 mm

Dimension B: 70 mm

Finish: Black

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05877-11_47d29d96-b33e-4b40-9c10-4d32860ed41a.png?v=1788874632
