DescriptionThe whole story▼

A Triumph Speed Twin 900 loaded for a camping weekend, with a roll bag across the seat and perhaps a partner on the back, puts more of its weight over the rear wheel. The rear brake becomes more important, especially on wet roads and gravel campsite lanes. Accossato lists the AGPA76 rear pad for the Speed Twin 900 from 2016 to 2025, and this is the Sintered (ST) version, designed to grip well in the wet and to keep a steady feel whether cold or warm.

Key Features

  • Sintered (ST) rear pads, Accossato AGPA76ST
  • For the Triumph Speed Twin 900, 2016 to 2025
  • For loaded weekends, pillion riding and wet roads
  • Accossato promises stable grip at all temperatures and in rain
  • Two pads per box for the rear caliper
  • Also offered in Organic

Construction and Material Quality

The sintered ST compound is the second material in the AGPA76 range. Accossato says it maintains a high and constant grip level at low and high temperatures and works well on wet discs. With luggage or a passenger aboard, the rear brake can do more useful work, and a consistent pedal makes it easier to use it smoothly. The material is also designed for long life and resistance to fade.

Camping Weekend

A weekend under canvas often means a wet morning packing up and a ride home in the rain. On the Speed Twin 900, with the extra weight of camping gear, braking earlier and using both brakes together keeps stops calm. The sintered rear pad is chosen to give a predictable pedal in those conditions. When you get home, wash the mud and grit from the rear caliper, check the pads for uneven wear, and let the bike dry before covering it. A gravel lane at the campsite is also worth a thought: loose stones reward a light rear brake and a steady throttle far more than a firm grab of the front lever, and the Speed Twin 900 is happiest there when ridden slowly and upright.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato's data places the AGPA76 at the rear of the Triumph Speed Twin 900 from 2016 to 2025. The single rear caliper takes one box. For the front, Accossato lists the AGPA112 from 2019 to 2024. The AGPA76 is available in Organic too.

Road Approval

We have no ABE and no road inspection document for this sintered pad. It is sold for track and competition riding.

Scope of Delivery
