DescriptionThe whole story▼

- Vents the tank through a correct fitting

The Touring Version
A full fairing, hard luggage, heated everything and an electrically adjustable screen. BMW built the GT for people crossing continents at speeds most tourers cannot reach.
Twenty-Four Litres
A large tank means a large amount of vapour for the carbon to absorb, particularly on a bike parked in the sun at the end of a long day.
Filled at Every Stop
Touring riders top up completely whenever they can, which is precisely the behaviour that forces liquid fuel into the bed and ruins it permanently.
The Symptoms
Hard starting and an uneven idle, generally a long way from home. On a motorcycle bought for distance that is a genuine argument for removal.
The Whole Path
From the tank vent through the carbon bed to the intake. The kit removes it end to end rather than interrupting it.
The Vent Is Part of the Kit
It is not an afterthought. Getting the tank breathing correctly is the difference between a tidy conversion and a fuel smell in the garage.
Why the Valve Cannot Just Be Pulled
Its coil is measured, and an open circuit is a fault code. This kit answers the measurement instead of hiding from it.
Duolever and Paralever
Wishbone front suspension and a shaft drive with a torque arm. BMW solved two problems in ways nobody else attempted, and the K 1300 GT rides unlike anything else because of it.
Standard Parts Untouched
Nothing in the kit modifies a component that stays on the bike, which is what makes the process symmetrical.
Two Different Bikes
A road motorcycle and a track motorcycle answer this question differently, and the same model can be either.
Heated Everything
Grips, seats for both rider and passenger, and a screen that moves under power. The K 1300 GT was specified for people who ride in February because they want to rather than because they must, and it shows in every control on the bike.
