DescriptionThe whole story▼
Kawasaki introduced the Ninja 500 for 2024 as the new entry to its twin-cylinder sports range, and it has quickly become a favourite for riders on a restricted licence and for anyone who wants an easy, light bike for daily use. Accossato lists its AGPA77 pad in the Organic mixture for the Ninja 500 and Ninja 500 SE of 2024 to 2026, front and rear. It suits commuters and new riders who value a soft, quiet brake and long-lasting discs.
Key Features
- Pads AGPA77 for the Kawasaki Ninja 500 and 500 SE, 2024 to 2026
- Accossato lists the plate for front and rear
- Organic mixture, SKU AGPA77OR
- Accossato: lasting performance, reduced disc wear
- Progressive response for daily traffic
- Quiet when braking gently at low speed
- Also offered on this plate as ST
- No ABE on file; for competition
Construction and Material Quality
Two statements sum up Accossato's view of this compound: it performs over a long period and it restricts wear on the rotor. For a current Ninja 500 that is ridden to work and back every day, those two points mean fewer workshop visits and discs that stay within tolerance for longer. Accossato also points out that its pads keep heat in check to limit fade while still delivering firm stopping. The organic compound is bonded to the familiar AGPA77 plate.
New Bike, Daily Miles
A new Ninja 500 often replaces a car or public transport for the daily trip, which means the brakes see short, frequent applications from cold. That is where an organic set feels most natural: it responds straight away, gives a gentle, proportional lever and runs quietly past offices and houses in the early morning.
Riders coming from a 125 appreciate the calm feel while they get used to the extra pace. Keep an eye on pad wear at every service, clean the calipers when the bike is washed and do not let chain lubricant drift onto the discs. If the lever feels soft after the change, pump it until the pistons are back in contact with the pads.
Fitment and Compatibility
For the 2024 to 2026 Ninja 500, Accossato gives AGPA77 as the pad for both ends of the bike, covering the standard version and the SE. The disc Accossato catalogues for this model is DK271. Because a box equips a single caliper, a complete change front and rear means ordering two. On a machine this new, the original pads will usually still be in place, which makes it easy to compare shapes on the bench.
Road Approval
We do not have an ABE or German test document for AGPA77OR. It is supplied for competition use.
