Öhlins machines the ports rather than casting them, so the edges stay sharp and the flow predictable. Valves and needles set the adjustable part of the damping; the piston sets the rest. Port area and shim seat geometry decide the damping curve before any adjuster is touched.

Why the Original

Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order.

Getting the Number Right

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 15026-01. Check dimension a 44 mm, dimension b 11.3 mm, dimension c 1.25 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. The piston carries the shim stacks and meters the oil; its port layout is what makes an Öhlins damper behave the way it does. Bands are consumables and are replaced at every rebuild.

Fitting and Setup Service

We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 15026-01

Category: Piston Bands

Dimension A: 44 mm

Dimension B: 11.3 mm

Dimension C: 1.25 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/15026-01_23d75eca-f4ca-4538-99e5-3754034a3815.png?v=1788878430
