Opening the weave from 80 to 85 microns is a deliberate move toward flow; the published retention figures still favour this cloth at 100 microns, 95.22 against 93.13 per cent, but the finer weave keeps its advantage where the load is finest, and a machine living on public roads meets far more of that fine load than of anything else.
