DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Street Triple 765 R carries an engine developed for Moto2. The JP PD TR062 replaces its right-hand switch with milled Ergal on a universal clamp pattern.

Key Features

  • Triumph Street Triple 765 R (2023–2026)
  • Universal hole pattern for either master cylinder
  • Full street control set
  • Black, titanium or copper anodising
  • CNC-milled Ergal 7075
  • Plug-and-play on the original connector

An Engine With a Racing Certificate

Triumph supplies the 765 triple to Moto2, and the road engine benefited directly: revised head, new crankshaft, higher compression. The R makes 120 hp in a motorcycle weighing under 190 kilograms, which is a ratio that used to belong to supersport machines with clip-ons.

The R and the RS

Triumph splits the range by suspension and brakes rather than by engine. The R gets Showa forks and a Brembo M4.32 caliper; the RS gets Öhlins at the back and Stylemas at the front. Both use the same handlebar architecture, and both are quicker than most riders will use.

A Naked Bike's Cockpit

With no fairing, the handlebar area is the largest thing in the rider's view and a substantial part of how the motorcycle reads from outside. The moulded switch housing is the component that most obviously belongs to a parts bin, which is why it is replaced early on bikes like this.

Universal Clamp Geometry

The switch shares its bolts with the front master cylinder clamp, and the R's Brembo unit does not use Triumph's original spacing. The universal plate accepts both arrangements, which removes the question entirely.

Three Anodised Finishes

Black, titanium and copper. Copper is unusual in this catalogue and works surprisingly well against the Street Triple's matte paintwork, where a bright silver component would look like a repair.

One Piece

Milled from a single billet rather than moulded in halves and clipped around the bar. No joint for a button to sit across, no seam for water to enter, and a clamp that tightens with a proper fastener.
