DescriptionThe whole story▼

The JP ACCGP BM008 fits the newer BMW R12 nineT (2024-2026), carrying the GP Series's sixty-degree reduced rotation and progressive return spring onto this latest-generation boxer roadster, finishing fitment with the usual diagnostic throttle relearn once the unit is bolted into place.

Key Features

  • BMW R12 nineT (2024–2026)
  • GP Series ride-by-wire quick throttle with a sixty degree rotation angle
  • Progressive return spring, preload adjustable externally in three positions
  • CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075
  • Plug-and-play on the motorcycle's own connector
  • Standard throttle assembly refits at any time

A New Generation, the Same Boxer Character

The R12 nineT updates the platform underneath it while keeping the air and oil-cooled boxer twin's distinctive pulse, and a shorter throttle rotation complements that heritage feel, giving a quicker, more direct response without changing anything about how the engine itself is tuned.

Reset, Not Rebuild

After the throttle body is physically fitted, the bike's diagnostic system needs to run its standard relearn procedure so the control unit recognises the new closed-to-open position range, a step that takes only a few minutes with the right equipment and nothing more involved than that.

Three Preload Settings Within Reach

Preload on the progressive spring adjusts externally across three stages, accessible without removing the housing, so the throttle feel can be set firmer for a brisk ride through the hills or softer for a relaxed cruise on familiar roads.

Keeping the Retro Switchgear Untouched

The unit uses the same connector and mounting points as the factory throttle body, so the R12 nineT's handlebar switches, visible cabling and retro-styled clamps all stay exactly as they were fitted from new.

Built From a Solid Billet

Machined from 7075 Ergal aluminium on CNC equipment rather than cast, the housing holds tight internal tolerances from the first unit produced to the last, keeping throttle feel consistent regardless of when a given unit left the factory.

Removable Without a Trace

Nothing about the factory throttle body is cut or altered to make this swap, so it can be put back later with no sign the bike was ever fitted with anything other than the original part.
