DescriptionThe whole story▼
Machined from Ergal 70/75 high-tensile aluminium alloy and finished to exacting tolerances, the Bonamici Racing SM50 handlebar transforms the ergonomics of the Honda CBR 1000 RR SC77 without compromise. A 15 mm rise combined with a 6.5° downward sweep positions the rider lower and further forward, sharpening input precision and reducing fatigue on both road and track.
Key Features
- CNC-milled from Ergal 70/75 high-strength aluminium alloy for exceptional rigidity and long-term durability
- 15 mm rise and 6.5° downward inclination deliver an aggressive, sport-forward riding position with improved steering feel
- Integrated anti-slip safety system maintains grip and stability under extreme loading conditions
- Four-point mounting system — two points at the handlebar, two at the fork — ensures a secure, rattle-free installation
- Designed and manufactured exclusively for the Honda CBR 1000 RR SC77, guaranteeing an exact OEM-replacement fit
- 100% Made in Italy to Bonamici Racing's motorsport production standards
Build Quality and Materials
Ergal 70/75 is an aerospace-grade aluminium alloy chosen for its outstanding strength-to-weight ratio and resistance to fatigue under repeated dynamic loading. Every SM50 handlebar is CNC-milled from solid billet — not cast — so wall thickness, geometry and surface finish remain consistent from the first unit to the last. The result is a handlebar that feels planted and direct at the clip-ons, with none of the flex or vibration that cheaper alternatives introduce at high corner speeds.
Ergonomics and Riding Position
The SM50's geometry was developed to suit the chassis architecture of the SC77 generation CBR 1000 RR. The 15 mm rise lifts the bar slightly relative to stock clip-on position, while the 6.5° downward sweep keeps the wrist angle neutral and natural under braking. The net effect is a more sustainable aggressive tuck — useful for lap-time work on circuit and equally rewarding on a demanding mountain road. The anti-slip system integrated into the handlebar surface keeps grips locked in position regardless of vibration or temperature change.

The Bonamici Racing SM50 handlebar is engineered specifically for the following motorcycle:
