DescriptionThe whole story▼
The front half of the exhaust, in titanium, sold on its own. Spark's collector for the Multistrada 950 replaces the manifold and the catalytic converter in one piece and takes the silencer of your choice behind it.
Key Features
- Racing collector in titanium for the Ducati Multistrada 950, 2017 to 2018.
- Replaces the standard manifold and catalytic section.
- Designed to take Spark silencers.
- Optional dB killer G9976 available for the collector.
- No road approval — closed-circuit use only.
- Made by Spark in Mantova, Italy.
What a Collector Article Is
Most exhaust purchases are silencers. This one is the other half: the pipework that runs from the cylinder heads to the point where a silencer clamps on, built in titanium rather than the steel Ducati uses.
Buying it separately makes sense in two situations — you already have a Spark silencer and want to complete the system, or you are building a machine where the collector is the restriction and the can is not.
Titanium Ahead of the Silencer
Titanium is lighter than steel for the same wall strength and holds its shape through the heat cycling a header run sees. On a collector, which sits closest to the exhaust ports and therefore runs hottest, that second property matters as much as the first.
Spark forms and TIG-welds its own pipework, and the seams are left visible rather than dressed back.
The Optional dB Killer
Spark builds a dB killer specifically for this collector, article G9976. It is a perforated grid insert, and Spark is explicit that it is only compatible when installed on the manifold — it goes into the collector, not into a silencer.
If the circuits you ride enforce a noise limit, order the two together.
No Catalytic Converter
The standard Multistrada 950 carries its catalyst in the collector, and this part does not replace it — it removes it. That is why Spark lists the article as racing and why it cannot be used on a road-registered motorcycle.
Which Multistrada
The Multistrada 950 of 2017 and 2018, which is the model year range Spark lists for this collector. The later 950 S and the V2 use different pipework — send us the exact model and year and we will check it against Spark's data before anything ships.
Made in Italy
Spark forms, welds and finishes in Mantova. On a titanium collector that matters more than on a silencer: the bends are made in-house, and the weld quality on a header run is what determines whether it survives a season of heat cycling.
Fitment & Compatibility
Ducati Multistrada 950, 2017 to 2018. The matching dB killer is G9976. Ask us which Spark silencers Spark pairs with this collector for your build.
Road Approval
None. Spark lists this part as racing; it deletes the catalytic converter and must not be fitted to a motorcycle ridden on public roads.
