Fork legs are matched left and right on most Öhlins forks and are listed separately. Bushings in the fork carry the side load; play there shows up as knocking under braking. Fork parts are specific to the fork, not to the motorcycle it happens to be fitted to.

Why the Original

This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order.

Getting the Number Right

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 21667-03. Öhlins states dimension a 48 mm, dimension b 571 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Inner tubes are coated because they run in bushings and seals for their whole life. Cartridge tubes sit inside the fork leg and do the actual damping.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21667-03

Category: Fork Parts

Dimension A: 48 mm

Dimension B: 571 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21667-03_52810ed9-5c98-41f3-a6c2-f15a823b0401.png?v=1788880067
