Pins and dowels locate parts to each other; without them the assembly is merely clamped, not positioned.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 00131-01

Original Öhlins service part

Function

This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. A circlip holds axial position under load; if it springs, the assembly walks. Circlips are single-use in practice: once opened, the grip is no longer reliable. Circlips are single-use in practice: once sprung, they no longer hold their groove reliably.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask.

Identifying the Right Part

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 00131-01. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need. Shoulder screws set a clearance as well as clamping, which is why the length is exact.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00131-01

Category: Circlips

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00131-01_1a848e9d-7949-4519-96cc-f20ae1d88a42.png?v=1788868689
