DescriptionThe whole story▼
On a race bike the left flank is the working side. It is where the paddock stand goes, where the mechanic kneels, and where the panel comes off most often between sessions. CK26231 is Carbonin's left panel for the Gen 7 ZX-10R, and it is built around that reality: Dzus fasteners at the top edge, a quick-release bracket at the front, and a moulded seat for the 3D-printed wing that finishes the flank.
Key Features
- Full-depth flank moulding for the 2026 Gen 7 silhouette, matched to CK26210 above and CK26221 below
- Located and retained by quarter-turn fasteners and a quick-release bracket rather than push-fit trim clips
- Prepared mounting for the 3DK26237 left wing
- Prepreg-backed laminate cured in an autoclave for a panel that stays flat over a season
- Bare buffed weave, no clearcoat, ready for the team's paint scheme
Panels That Stay Where You Put Them
The complaint riders make about aftermarket flanks is not weight, it is fit drifting over time — a panel that lines up on the bench and then gapes at the leading edge after a few heat cycles. Autoclave curing is the answer Carbonin apply: consolidating the laminate under pressure leaves far less resin to relax later, so the panel that bolts on in March still meets the cowl cleanly in September. The inner face is prepreg, which is what carries that stability; the outer face is plane weave, buffed, and deliberately unlacquered so a paint shop has something to key into.
Part of a Set
This panel is one element of the Gen 7 bodywork and is sold on its own so a damaged flank can be replaced without buying a whole kit again. It works with the CK26210 upper and CK26221 lower, carries the 3DK26237 wing, and is secured at the front by the IN2601K bracket. Each of those is available separately.
Fitment
For the 2026 Kawasaki ZX-10 R and ZX-10 RR only. The Gen 7 flank profile is new for 2026 and does not share mountings with the previous bike.
Road Approval
A competition part, supplied without approval documentation.
